As a senior architect, Pascal is involved in designing and setting up systems. From technical calculations and architectural designs to defining processes and procedures, his signature can be found in many of the organisation’s foundations. That responsibility is not given lightly. At X-Center, craftsmanship and experience are trusted, and that trust translates into the freedom to have real influence.
Alongside technology, quality is increasingly important. X-Center is actively pursuing ISO 27001 certification in information security. For Pascal, this is not a box-ticking exercise, but a logical consequence of working for large customers. Security must not only be well organised, but also demonstrable. Being asked to take a leading role in this process feels to him like recognition of his expertise and commitment.
Sharing knowledge and bringing people along
Beyond his technical responsibilities, Pascal finds it essential to pass on knowledge. He mentors trainees and colleagues who are new to the field, helps them get up to speed, and shows how theory and practice come together. The phrase Where people are involved is more than a nice line to Pascal. He was involved in its creation and sees every day how this idea is lived in practice. X-Center may be a small organisation, but it is one with a high level of commitment. Not a family in the literal sense, but a close-knit group where openness and respect are central.

One moment Pascal looks back on with pride is a significant project that went live for a customer in 2022, starting from a so-called greenfield situation; an entirely new system was built, including an intensive migration from a legacy environment. It was a demanding, intensive journey that required collaboration. The successful go-live remains a source of pride for him and is proof of what can be achieved together at X-Center.
