As an ECM Solution Architect at X-Center, you design and deliver complex ECM solutions that truly support business processes.
Your role
As an ECM Solution Architect at X-Center, you design and realise Enterprise Content Management solutions that genuinely support business processes. You translate business needs into technically strong, feasible designs, with OpenText and SAP at the core.
You take the technical lead in projects: making architectural choices, safeguarding quality, and helping teams deliver consistently. You look beyond the solution itself, naturally considering performance, security, maintainability, and user adoption in every design.
What you bring
- HBO / Bachelor’s or Master’s level in IT, or equivalent working and thinking level
- Proven experience with OpenText ECM, with a strong focus on Extended ECM for SAP (xECM), Content Server, and archiving (e.g. Archive Center)
- Solid knowledge of SAP landscapes (ECC and/or S/4HANA) and document-related integrations, metadata, and workflows
- A broad IT foundation, including development and APIs, application servers, security, and cloud or infrastructure concepts
- Natural leadership skills: you take initiative, make decisions, safeguard best practices, and coach colleagues in their growth
- Clear communication skills in Dutch and English; additional languages are a plus
What you’ll do at X-Center
- Translate business requirements into robust solution designs and realistic implementation approaches.
- Design ECM architectures, including integrations, authorisations, security, and non-functional requirements (performance, availability)
- Review designs and code, perform quality checks, and ensure standards are consistently applied in delivery.
- Guide and coach consultants and developers during implementation and ongoing evolution
- Collaborate with customer teams and stakeholders: advise, prioritise, and clearly explain technical choices.
- Improve existing platforms through upgrades, migrations, stability improvements, monitoring, and continuous optimisation.
