Helping organisations design smart and reliable SAP document and data archiving.
Your role
As a SAP ECM Consultant at X-Center, you help organisations design and implement reliable SAP document management, document archiving, and data archiving solutions. You work in SAP landscapes (ECC and/or S/4HANA) with OpenText components and ensure documents and data are available in the right place, at the right time: secure, compliant, and future-ready.
You work closely with the technology. You analyse incidents, read logs, handle integration questions, and contribute to structural improvements. Mostly remote, sometimes on-site. You communicate easily with functional colleagues and customer IT teams. You take ownership from intake and analysis through solution and go-live, without overpromising but with visible results.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s level working and thinking ability in ICT, or equivalent experience.
- 2–5 years of experience with SAP-related document and/or archiving solutions (for example, OpenText, SAP DMS, ArchiveLink, ILM, or similar)
- You understand SAP ERP processes and the business context of documents and data.
- A technical mindset: you enjoy analysing issues, reading logs, and getting to the real root cause
- Experience with or interest in integrations such as HTTP/REST, OData/SOAP, certificates, SSO/authorisations, and cloud fundamentals (for example, Azure)
- ABAP and/or Fiori knowledge is a plus
- Clear communication skills in Dutch and English; French is a plus
What you’ll do at X-Center
- Implement and improve SAP and OpenText solutions for document and data archiving.
- Work on integrations around SAP processes (procurement, sales, HR) so documents are available in the correct business context.
- Perform analyses, testing, and migration or optimisation work (performance, storage, retention, authorisations)
- Resolve incidents and drive improvements in root cause, stability, and monitoring.
- Guide customers from intake through go-live with fellow consultants and project management.
- Share knowledge within the team, and grow toward a lead or architect role if you desire.
